Policies
Payment: payment is due immediately upon completion of a scheduled service period. A finance charge of 8% per month will be added to unpaid balances after 5 days. A handling fee of $30.00 will be charged on all returned checks. An advance deposit may be required whenever warranted in the sole judgment of Guardian Angel Pet Sitting & Home Care, LLC. In the event it is necessary to initiate collection proceedings on the account, Client will be responsible for all attorney’s fees and costs of collection.
All pets are to be currently vaccinated.
House Key Pickup/Return: During the initial preservice visit we will pick up clients duplicate house keys. Client can choose to have us keep a set of keys in a secured locked safe in our office for future pet sitting and home care needs. Our ultimate goal is to build a long-term relationship with our clients. This enables us to service our client’s needs at a moment’s notice with minimal inconvenience. However, if you choose to have us return your house keys there will be a $10 charge for the trip. For new clients, this charged is waived one-time. Clients electing for their keys to be returned must contact the office to make these arrangements. For security reasons and in case the client does not return home when scheduled, we will not leave keys inside your home during our last scheduled service visit.
Pet Sitter is covered by a dishonesty bond and commercial liability coverage. With reciprocal consideration, client agrees to be responsible for any injuries incurred by pet sitter due to client’s pet (i.e., bite, scratch) or condition of client’s premises.
No Charge Policy: We will not charge for change of dates, cancellations, or early returns, providing you contact our office prior to a visit. If you return from a trip early and do not call us to cancel our visit, and we arrive for the pet sit or home check, you will be charged the full fee of the visit.
Sharing Responsibility: If anyone else has access to your home while the pet-sitting job is being performed, we, Guardian Angel Pet Sitting & Home Care, LLC, can assume no liability for any damages or losses to your home or pet.
The utmost of care will be given in watching both your pet(s) and your home. However, due to the extreme unpredictability of animals, we cannot accept responsibility for any mishaps of an extraordinary or unusual nature (i.e., bitings, furniture damage, accidental death, etc.) or any complications in administering medications to the animal. Nor can we be liable for injury, disappearance, death or fines of pet(s) with access to the outdoors.
